Awful Day Ever
It all started with my case of uncontrollable hair. I couldn't figure it to look decent. As I was running out the door, I trippedover and dropped my lunch all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was extremely behind schedule for a very important appointment.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to throw your hands up.
